From the world of sports to the world of performing arts and show business
RYUZI competed at the Jr. Olympics as a swimmer and went to Brazil to play football by himself. After that, he shifted his career to the world of performing arts and joined Shiki Theatre Compnay. He now teaches yoga, Pilates, and dancing as well as being active as a musical actor. His also offers personal training for performing artists and celebrities.
Career:
RYUZI was officially registered as a player of Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, a football team of the Brazilian League A. After coming back to Japan, he played at Yomiuri Verdy of the J. League, the Japanese Professional Football League, as a trainee of the farm team, and then joined in Shiki Theatre Company.

RYUZI discovered yoga and Pilates in his quest for physical reformation and entertainment. He practiced Ashtanga yoga under Ken Harakuma, and currently has more than 18 classes a week in Tokyo. He also teaches yoga for reformation of body to prominent figures, from actresses including Ryoko Yonekura and Takako Matsu with whom he co-starred in plays to professional baseball players.
