Reiko Chiba
Profile:
Reiko debuted as an idle in1991 and became popular under the nickname of “Chiba-Rei”,
and appeared on a lot of TV,CM,Redio. She retired Idle in 1995 then became the president of Digital contents company, Cherry Babe Inc. It produced a lot of game /Web/mobile contents / system.
Reiko began yoga in 1999 after she gave birth and her child-raising, then studied Indian philosophy and Yoga Sutras at yoga sangaty group by Naruse Takayoshi in 2002.
In 2002, she graduated Instructor training course of Japan Fitness Yoga Association by Hikaru Hashimoto. After that she got coaching from Houdo Tahara in order to appear and teach at yoga TV program in NHK. From 2003, she made repeated visits to THE DIVINE LIFE SOCIETY in Rishikesh North India. Reiko was impressed by teaching of Swami Sivananda and created methods of “integral yoga” taking yoga comprehensively.
She holds integral yoga class as teacher / director.
In 2006, she joined 200hrs TTC at The Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers and Ashrams and qualified Yoga Alliance （graduated Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy）. She was named as Durga by Swami Sitaramananda and also spread sivananda yoga.
She completed 500hrs ATTC under Sitaramananda
