Born in Nagoya. Now resides in Fuchu, Tokyo. Graduated from the Economics department of Aichi University. Also Graduated from the psychology department of Portland State University, Oregon, USA.

Ever since she was introduced to Hatha Yoga in a Yoga dojo, she has mastered Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Power Yoga, Raja Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Body works in various studios. While she has been teaching yoga in both in Japanese and English language, she also does supervising jobs for many television programs, magazines, and yoga web sites. She is often invited to yoga studios nationwide to do workshops, where she gives lectures about body work, Yoga philosophy, and dietary education. She also gives intensive courses of teachers' trainings. She has developed her own "Tensegrity Yoga" style after 20 years of teaching experience. She has been developing approaches to adjust body balance and prana with self-stabilizing power, based on the knowledge while mastering body works. ACO is often recognized as a pioneer of Vinyasa yoga in Japan. She has regular classes at Sun&Moon, TYG, UTL, Lotus+8, Gold's Gym.

Lately ACO teamed up a unit project with experienced yoga teachers in her age. They propose doing Yoga "off the mat" instead of "on the mat", in order to explore life beyond ages. The unit is offering various kinds of actions.
