From practicing, walking and even sitting, we stiffen our hip muscles. We all want flexibility in the hip, but many people think hip opening means pain, sweats and tears. This class aims to bring a new perspective to your pelvis and hip joints. Through a stimulating flow of postures, you will learn releasing and restorative poses, which will help open two important joints of the body - the hips and shoulders. Shoulders and the hips are both extremely important joints in our body. The stability of these two joints determines most of your balancing postures. We will move towards more advanced opening exercises and will learn how to manage the sensations caused by these intense stretches. In this class, you will find out how to better control of your shoulders and hips which grant you stability and poise in your arm balance. You will discover how much alignment will do for you in balances, in place of muscular strength. Besides taking flights in our arm balancing postures, you will also learn some releasing and restorative postures for your shoulders and hips for better flexibility.
