Toshiro had been in farming trainees program in Colorado, United States from 1977, and graduated from Okalahoma University in 1980.
During his 5years stay in the US, he strongly sympathized with holistic values of health (yoga, macrobiotic, etc..) and became oil massager officially recognized by Florida.
After returning to Japan, while continuing oriental medicine treatment like acupuncture, he had been involved in teaching Yoga mainly in West Kanagawa from 1984.
He opened Kripalu yoga studio at Shibuya, Tokyo. It is officially recognized by Kripalu center which is the largest holistic center in the US. After that, the studio merged with MUKU STUDIO at Ginza from October 2006 and founded Kripalu Japan.
Now he holds lecture of Kripalu yoga and teachers training at “Yoga of Life” owned by Kripalu Japan in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo.
