[22F5] Press Point Connected to Prana
For most Yoga beginners, the knowledge of anatomy is generally limited. However, even with limited anatomical knowledge one can efficiently exercise and enjoy a good balance of the body. The way to do so is connecting with Prana, the inner energy flowing within the body. Why? It is because the entire body is considered to be organically connected through Prana energy. As long as you remain focused on organically-united Prana while practicing, anyone can build a safe and stable foundation and fully open up the body from the inside. In this class, we will focus our learning on how to increase Prana by introducing one of the most characteristic methods of Kripalu Yoga, which is press point. Once you learn the general press points used in forward bends and back bends, you will then be able to adapt them to various body movements in daily life, not only to Asana. We welcome all levels of students in this class.
