It's a practice designed for women so we can age gracefully and enjoy our optimal bodily health. It indeed may be a way to try and see what happens by gritting your teeth and saying, "Faster, stronger, more challenging poses!" in your practice, but with me in this class, you will bring back harmony to, and cherish your precious, ever-so-hard-working body by going gentle and deep, so that you can resolve imbalance you may have accumulated in your daily life. In the first half of the practice, we will be focusing on bringing into consciousness the abdomen and pelvic floor muscles, adjusting of which is beneficial to many women. You will also learn how to practice to increase bone density. In the latter half, bringing your uterus into consciousness, and deeply experiencing cell-to-cell respiratory exchange, we will practice gentle, life-sustaining meditation that helps you bring a balance to "giving" and "letting go" through breathing, and lead your heart into total clarity.
