Do you know how soothing sound can be? We live in a world surrounded by countless sounds. Among so plenty of them, quality soothing sound can lead us to relaxation. The factor that makes sound soothing is “vibration.” A study shows that our cells can be invigorated by vibration. We can create a relaxed state of body through quality vibration and breathing. As simply positive energy, comfort begets relaxation; then relaxation guides our body and mind to the right path. Since ancient times, indigenous people acquaint with ways to receive soothing energy through the contact with the earth and nature. These ways have been assimilated into their languages and cultures. One of such ways is a use of musical instruments: they mimic the sounds of the earth and create soothing energy themselves. In this class, we enjoy asanas thoroughly, experiencing abundant vibration from folk instruments such as didgeridoo from Australia and calimba from Africa. Enjoy our breathing.
